Emma Lui
Our bodies know how to heal themselves. It is based on this belief that Emma offers Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, ThetaHealing® and Holistic Nutrition to support clients to connect to their bodies’ natural healing ability. She provides compassionate and restorative care that gets to the root of clients’ symptoms and conditions.
In her own process of healing from food sensitivities and burnout, she found Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, ThetaHealing® and Holistic Nutrition to be deeply restorative and nourishing. Emma has completed Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training with Body Intelligence. She has also completed BCST training and ThetaHealing® with local practitioners in the Gatineau Hills. She is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
Emma is also the Holistic Health Director for the Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network and social justice activist. She has been a water activist for more than a decade and is passionate about water because of its beauty, power, and ability to nourish, heal and sustain life.
She sees personal health as deeply connected to community and environmental health as well as to our social and political environments. She provides care with an awareness of the crises we face today including climate, food and water crises, racism, gender-based violence, capitalism, colonization and how they all can impact our well-being.
She also provides care with an understanding of how trauma, including intergenerational, historical and collective trauma, and impact individual and community health.
In her spare time, she hikes, cooks, swims, gardens and reads. She practices in Ottawa and in the Gatineau Hills, which are on Algonquin Anishinabe traditional territory.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy sessions are in person. ThetaHealing® and Holistic Nutrition sessions are virtual or by phone. Insurance receipts available.
